Biskupia 4 is my first fully independent, author-driven project. It was created without compromise — as a response to the need for calm, focus, and uncompromising quality.
This is not just another restaurant. It is a thoughtfully designed space where every detail matters. A place built on the belief that there is no great cuisine without great ingredients.
Technique is a tool. Quality is the foundation. Polish cuisine — its flavours and its memories — is closest to my heart. Yet I believe that the best cuisine has no nationality; it has quality.
A visit to Biskupia 4 is a tasting experience. It is a place you choose to visit consciously and with intention. It is not for everyone. And that is precisely why it matters.

BISKUPIA 4
Biskupia 4 is an intimate space hidden within a basement setting — designed with intention. The raw character of brick and wood is balanced by refined details. A soft darkness fills the room, while light is directed exactly where it matters most — to the table. Because that is where the performance unfolds. The white tablecloth is our canvas; everything else is merely the backdrop.
The interior is not decoration. It is a collection of personal references and stories — elements that shape the identity of this place. From the moment you enter, you are greeted by a painting of an old linden tree from Dziemiony. For me, it is a memory of childhood and summer: the scent of grain fields, the colours of cornflowers and irises. Also hanging on the wall is the chef’s jacket in which I spent thousands of hours working in Heston Blumenthal’s kitchen. These are not decorative objects; they are points of reference, milestones that guided me to where I am today. This is a space where the experience begins long before the first course arrives.

Artur is the first point of contact with Biskupia 4. He is responsible for preparing every visit long before it begins. He combines attentiveness and professionalism with a natural sense of hospitality. He listens. Anticipates. Guides. As a result, Biskupia 4 becomes more than a restaurant — it becomes a place of meaningful encounters, a space where guests feel guided rather than served.

The entire venue may be reserved for private use — for private dinners, special gatherings, and occasions that deserve an exceptional setting. Every event is curated individually, with care, discretion, and respect for its unique character.
